Meet Russ and Lauren

In September 2009, we (newlyweds of only 2 months!) had to make the difficult decision whether or not to move to Germany for Russ’s job as an engineer.  After several weeks of debate, we decided that it was an opportunity we just couldn’t pass up!

Now as residents of Heidenheim, Germany, we spend our time exploring the new town, surrounding areas and countries, and of course learning German!

I’m looking forward to reading your blog! And….I’m really glad you explained that title to non-literature majors like myself!

    Have fun,

    Willkommen in Deutschland!

  6. Hey Russ and Lauren! So happy that Nate shared our blog with you guys. Looking at your photos and reading your stories makes me want to return to Deutschland immediately! It’s such a beautiful country, and you’re both so lucky to be experiencing it. I’ll be checking back often for a dose of the Bavarian cuisine and architecture that I already miss so much! Prost!
